Program Committee

The Programming Committee is responsible for developing and coordinating a wide range of events and initiatives that align with the organization’s mission. This includes planning educational lectures, lunch and learn sessions, fundraising activities, and community service events. The committee works closely with local organizations and agencies to build partnerships and ensure meaningful community engagement.

The Program Committee is responsible for all facets of program sessions including securing the location, arranging for speakers, conducting the sessions, providing information to the Membership and Communications Committees. The Committee assists with the Chapter's annual public service events and will develop the messaging around its events, including but not limited to, social media, invitations and announcements.

Membership committee


With the assistance of other committees, the Membership Committee develops the membership structure, solicits new members, and maintains the membership database.  Works with the Communications Committee to issue member correspondence and promote the Chapter and its programs/activities to the membership base and additional interested parties.The Membership Committee will develop the messaging around membership drives and membership information.  The Membership Committee Chair will hold overall responsibility for working with the Communications and Program Committees to maintain the Chapter's membership list.

Communications Committee

The Communications Committee promotes the Chapter and its activities, programs and chapter meetings to the membership, interested public and the media. The Committee manages the newsletter to the membership, maintains the Chapter’s website, promotes activities via social media and manages event registrations and mailing lists.  

We welcome additional support for developing new content, taking photos, and generally thinking about how to better promote SWEP Three Rivers!

Finance Committee


The Finance Committee manages the Chapter’s annual budget and oversees the sponsorship program, including levels of sponsorship and associated benefits.  The Committee solicits for annual and/or event sponsors and liaises between the sponsors and the other Officers and Committees.
