A Conversation with County Executive, Rich Fitzgerald: Creating an Environment to Advance Women Leaders
Join SWEP Three Rivers Chapter on Thursday, April 4, 2019 as we sit down with Rich Fitzgerald, County Executive. Empowering women to succeed begins with a culture of inclusivity. County Executive Fitzgerald walks the talk when it comes to creating a workplace culture where women are viewed as leaders. Since he took office in 2012, he has ensured that women are at the table when it comes to county governance. Over 60% of his hires have been female, 33% of his departments and divisions are run by women, and every one of the county authorities is run by a woman. Rich has advocated for social and economic equality for our communities and within the business world and strives to ensure that government reflects the region’s racial and gender diversity. We look forward to our “Conversation with Rich Fitzgerald” and hope you will join us to discuss women’s leadership in Allegheny County and efforts to protect the environmental health of our region through infrastructure improvements that promote sustainability and resiliency.
