Earth Day: Beautify the Block

On April 24, the For Good family will be joined by several volunteer groups to help make our block the brightest on the Avenue. Project groups will be assigned zones and there will be a variety of activities happening around us.

The vacant lot adjacent to the Hollander building was cleared last fall and now needs to be made into something special.

Activities will include: laying pathways, spreading mulch and gravel, painting, planting and general clean up.

Start time: For Good PGH is inviting people down to Braddock at 9:00 a.m. to join the annual litter clean up, but work on our sites will begin at 10:00 am and continue until 1:00 pm. For Good PGH will have some tools available, but welcome people to bring more from home for the day.

The site the SWEP crew will be working on is parcel 302-E-294.
