Ms. Lauren Terpak is an engineer with 15+ years of experience in wet weather planning to assist municipalities and agencies response to regulatory requirements to resolve wet weather issues and improve management, operation, and maintenance of collection system assets. It was Lauren’s given enthusiasm for the outdoors, the environment and naturally built world that lead her to obtain a B.E. in Civil Engineering with a focus in environmental engineering from Youngstown State University. Upon graduation Lauren became employed with AECOM (formerly Metcalf & Eddy) in the Water division and has been with the company since 2003. Aside from her career, Lauren has been actively involved with the Pittsburgh Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers ASCE where she also served as membership chair. Lauren was introduced to SWEP by attending a few of their inaugural events and was immediately impressed and inspired. While new to SWEP this season, Lauren is serving as the Membership Committee Chair and looks forward to supporting and growing the organization.
