Katie Kvalchik
Katie is a licensed Landscape Architect and Trail Development Project Manager at Friends of the Riverfront. Katie has worked on a variety of riverfront
park and trail projects throughout Pennsylvania. She believes that improving a
community’s quality of life and creating vibrant places starts with providing
people with equitable access to their open spaces, trails and riverfronts.
Within every project, Katie focuses on working with people in their places to
ensure the civic space is a true reflection of its community, culture,
diversity and residents. Aside from her career, Katie
enjoys exploring the sights and sounds of Pittsburgh by bike, gardening, dog walks and flyfishing for trout.
