Ms. Lauren Terpak is an engineer with 15+ years of experience in wet weather planning assisting municipalities and agencies respond to regulatory requirements to resolve wet weather issues and improve management, operation, and maintenance of collection system assets. It was Lauren’s given enthusiasm for the outdoors, the environment and naturally built world that led her to obtain a B.E. in Civil Engineering with a focus in Environmental Engineering from Youngstown State University in Youngstown, Ohio. Lauren is the Water Resources Technical Service Manager at ms consultants, inc. following over 15 years with AECOM (formerly Metcalf & Eddy). Aside from her career, Lauren has been actively involved with the Pittsburgh Section of the American Society of Civil Engineers (ASCE) where she also served as membership chair. Lauren was introduced to SWEP by attending a few of their inaugural events and was immediately impressed and inspired. Lauren previously served as the Membership Committee Chair prior to taking on the Vice Chair position and looks forward to continuing to support and grow the organization.
