Communications Committee

The Communications Committee promotes the Chapter and its activities, programs and chapter meetings to the membership, interested public and the media. The Committee develops and issues a newsletter to the membership, develops and maintain the Chapter’s website and works with the Membership Officer to maintain the Chapter’s mailing lists.  The Communications Committee also manages the Chapter’s social media channels and uses them to connect with or cross promote events and information with other SWEP chapters or other outside organizations. 


Amanda McNally is a Professional Engineer with ten years of experience in investigation and remediation of sites contaminated with fuel-related hydrocarbons, chlorinated solvents, and military munitions in various market sectors, including transportation, oil and gas, and the United States federal government. She has developed sustainable remediation frameworks, including programmatic guidance for a portfolio of sites and a comprehensive sustainability analysis for a large sediment Superfund remediation site. Ms. McNally served on the Sustainable Remediation Forum Board of Trustees from 2013 through 2015 and has presented at numerous national and international conferences on the topic of sustainable remediation.
